Born out of a personal mission to help families, Missing Piece ABA Billing has grown into an industry leader in ABA therapy billing and consulting.

Our Story

Missing Piece ABA Billing began in the early 2000s, born out of a desire to help families access life-changing therapy for their children with autism. When one family struggled to get their insurance to cover essential ABA therapy services, what started as a personal effort to advocate on their behalf evolved into something much bigger.

Recognizing that many families and providers faced the same challenges, our founder left a successful corporate career to create a solution: a company dedicated to navigating the complexities of insurance billing for ABA therapy. From those early days in Kokomo, Indiana, the mission was clear—make high-quality, compassionate billing support available to those who need it most.

Working alongside a team of expert medical billing consultants, Missing Piece ABA Billing pioneered the billing processes that helped shape the path toward broader insurance coverage for ABA therapy. As the needs of providers grew, so did our services. We developed practice management software tailored to ABA and expanded into occupational therapy billing and other behavioral health specialties.
Today, Missing Piece ABA Billing serves providers across the United States. While we’ve grown in size and scope, our core mission remains unchanged: to be the most trusted partner in outsourced medical billing—providing expertise, integrity, and care in everything we do.
